Python snake skin is extremely durable, smooth, and is used for handbags, wallets, clothing, belts, luggage, shoes, and even furniture. The skin shows a pattern of dark outlined diamond shapes and blotches along the back and sides. The blotches look like puzzle pieces and also resemble the markings on a giraffe. There are two different cuts of python available in today’s marketplace; front cut and back cut. The front cut shows the back and side skin in the center and the back cut shows the belly scales in the center. Pythons vary in color from brown and tan, to bright green, yellow, or white. The Reticulated Python is the second longest snake in the world.
